There are people who tell me they want to leave Romania because they want to live in a decent /civilized country with “normal” people (where they want to be taken care of)… as far as I am concerned, I don’t know why would I do that. I love what I do, I’m even passionate about it, I love my friends and I love my life as it is, with ups and downs… Turn the TV on (great that I don’t have one for the moment) and you can see Romania as a bunch of incompetent people (especially at the very top)… How could one expect THIS government/state/“country” to do something for him/her (we are not there yet!)… Who cares about an individual, anyway, other than his/her family and friends? I rather think of the changes I could initiate or support together with other people… and fortunately there are some people out there, not a few… Yes, sometimes I give up and then I start again (I don’t know if I’m crazy, but for sure I am “unreasonable”, as George Bernard Shaw defines it)… Of course, there are so many things to be improved (starting from the area I live in, the people I work with etc…). And I have to be honest and say that, yes, if I get an incredible offer to move abroad, I would take it into consideration (“never say never”, again). But it is not my purpose right now, that’s for sure… I don’t want to run away… not yet… I just started to have fun! 🙂
